Dreams and new beginnings...

... and yet, a distant future.

synopsis

A young woman stays in a Doctor’s cabin in the middle of the woods, recovering from her wounds. With extra help from someone unexpected, she starts getting ready to finally go back to her hometown. This might not be yet as safe and easy as she might think.

Melanie Borguez

Actress and singer graduated from the Bachelor's Degree in Dramatic Literature and Theater, UNAM.
Among the montages in which she has participated are "HURT ", by Roberto Espinosa, presented at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2012, as well as at the 9th Festival of Monologues Theatre to a Solo Voice 2013, and in different cities of Austria in 2015; 1.12, directed by David Psalmon and Jorge Maldonado, with the collective Teatro Sin Paredes; Malintzin by Luis Santillán; Jam every third day, written and directed by Ana María Aparicio; How tall are the buildings in NY?, directed by Diego Alvarez Robledo; Who among us?, directed by Gustavo Beltrán, with Nuna Teatro Contemporáneo; Bicho Rock, directed by Emmanuel Marquez Peralta, with Figurat Teatro.
She has also participated in different projects for the screen, independent short films, a feature film directed by Ulysses Guzmán and in the television series “Por la máscara” and “Calles con historia”.
Besides focusing on her passion for acting and singing, Melanie is also a founding member of Aztikeria Teatro, a company which has brought to live plays like The Other Shore.

Mario Heras

Mario Heras

Originally from the city of Pachuca Hidalgo. Degree in Communication Science from ITESM. Since 1996 he has performed as an Actor, Singer and Announcer.

In musical theater, he has participated in the kids projects “Qates”, The Wizard of Oz, Antarctic Emperors, The Rocky Horror Show, and the second staging in Mexico of the Tony award winner, Avenue Q. His last work in musical theatre was in the staging of Man of La Mancha where he played the character of Anselmo.

In theater stand out his participations in Father is in Atlantis, Cheerful Bride for me Sad and Dead, North and Ana's Things.

In dubbing he has recorded openings for series such as Dragon Ball Z Kai and Babar and the adventures of Badou and characters for shows including Raggs, Covert Affairs, “Yo Gabba Gabba”, Horrible Stories, Littlest Pet Shop and “Superinsectos”.

In addition to developing in the field of acting, Mario has also produced various projects for institutions such as UNAM and INBA. Founder and Director of Resorte Theatre company dedicated to the creation of shows since 2008.

Rouse Calderón

Mexican actress graduated from the Andrés Soler Institute.
She participated in plays such as By the way ... Don't Want to Toast?, Unfaithfully Tragicomedia, and in the seasons of Microteatro Mexico of “Por los huevos” and “La Nave”.
She has collaborated on short films such as The Working Dead, The Queen and the Dead, The Menstade and now Coffee in the morning.
In children's theater she has participated with the company Captain Canutillo and his “Cachivaches” being part of the cast of The Extraordinary History of the Witch who wanted to be Princess and The Person Who Had the Power to Change the World.
She currently collaborates in the theater company First Call, participating in the plays Successful But Alone, Until Tomorrow My Love, Let’s Tell the Truth, You Also Told Me I Love you, This Night We Say Goodbye and Need to Finish.

Rogelio Rodríguez

(Mexico City, Mexico, 1980). Rogelio Rodriguez, also known by his friends as "Roger ", is a CG artist and filmmaker who grew up always interested in films and their stories.
He studied Communication Science at the ITESM in Mexico City and after graduating, he started working as copywriter at Z Publicidad for clients like Bacardi, Volkswagen, to name a couple. He transitions to working on set, shooting commercials as 2nd A.D. for brands like Volkswagen, DHL, Ford, Nestle, among others.
After some years, he takes a postgraduate degree in animation at Sheridan College and transitions to VFX and animation. He then works in the layout department in projects such as: Gnomeo & Juliet, EXODUS: Gods and Kings, The Jungle Book, Pirates of the Caribbean 5 and the VR preproduction teamfor The Lion King.
He is currently Head of the Layout department at the VFX studio DNEG in Vancouver, working on projects like Hobbs & Shaw, Venom, Wonder Woman II, Dune, Ghostbusters 3, and streaming shows like Catch 22, The Boys, Hotzone, to name a few.
